A beautiful day dawned bright and clear...a chill wind blew but the Easter bunnies came and brought us bags of easter goodies...
All the girls are enjoying the skiing and are having great fun- the latest Wally award goes to Miss Webster for creating chaos on the lift and ending up with her group's instructor on her lap!
The hot pool is proving to be very popular with the girls (but not the staff who observe the snow angels from a warm and comfortable vantage point!)
Tonight's activity is in full swing with the girls demonstrating their bowling skills whilst the staff compete with another school- SHS look set for victory-providing Mrs Heaton keeps out of the way!!!
Further snow is forecast tonight promising ideal conditions for tomorrow's escapades on the slopes.

New York Stop-over: Half board (26 March 2008) at the Edison Hotel, New York, 228 West 47th Street, New York NY 10036. Tel: 212-840-5000.
Departure Details
Thursday 20 March 2008. Gather at 0645 for 0715 departure. It will take time for the coach driver to load the cases. We are travelling with Coopers Coach Travel, tel: (0114) 248 2859. Meet the coach at the Botanical Gardens, Clarkehouse Road. The baggage allowance is 23kg. This is HEAVY and remember that YOU have to carry it; no porters, Mums or Dads, so pack with care. Wear sensible shoes and grey ski jumper. Only one piece of hand luggage is permitted and this must not weigh more than 6 kg. Hand in any medication (clearly labelled) to Mrs. Heaton.

1600 - depart Heathrow, flight VS1 (Virgin Atlantic) to Newark Liberty International, New York
1840 – arrive Newark Liberty International Airport, New York.
Coach transfer to Killington approx 4 hours. Check-in at The Mountain Inn, Killington.

Pack bags on to coach and check out of hotel. En route the Tour Guide will point out various places of interest. Journey to the airport for our flight home.

You sound as though you're all having loads of fun, but I am worried about the ski instructor - I hope he has now fully recovered! How did the bowling go in the end? I am assuming that we won, of course!!
